The artist reminisces about her childhood, she was a picky stubborn child. She used to only eat what she wanted, especially the green vegetables that were rejected at all times. However, there was an onion. Onion in purple which was her favorite color just like her purple hair. Her mom served her fried chopped onion together with beef and they tasted so good. Chopping those purple onions and smelling them in the Charles Landing kitchen (used to be her college dorm at that time), led her quick time travel to the past. Back then, she did not get the tears from her mom. The artist back to cooking, back to present soon wrinkles her nose and drops tears not because she misses her family in Korea, but because of the onions. Yes. She bets it’s the onion...
